You’re Invited!
CFAS is partnering with the Orlando Museum of Art to bring you a really engaging talk about Space Memorabilia and Art!
Thursday, March 19 at 6 pm, artist Dennis Scholl will be in conversation with Nicole Stott about memory, art, and space memorabilia.
Earlier that day at noon, our Art Sandwiched In program will feature Mark Marquette, director of the American Space Museum.
Rockets and Relics with the American Space Museum
Come learn about the American Space Museum in Titusville and its director, Mark Marquette. He hosts the long-running YouTube podcast Stay Curious, with more than 1,400 episodes on space history and current events and is the recipient of the 2024 Harry S. Kolcum Award for Communications. A Brevard County community leader since 2017, Marquette has led major nonprofit initiatives, served as past president of the Brevard Astronomical Society, and founded ShuttleFest, an annual gathering celebrating space history, workers, and local memorabilia.
